Meet Abigail Woods
‘The impact of good design in a home is so rewarding and I get to see that when handing over residential projects. That for me is the highlight’, says Abigail Woods, a Dublin-based interior designer who specialises in luxury interiors and creating bespoke designs.
Abigail has worked with B&G Construction on several of their recent domestic builds and renovations, polishing off each project with exquisite interiors that elevate the entire project. Abigail and B&G Construction have recently collaborated on a new, luxury 12-home development in Malahide, Cuan Buí.

Completion of this project is expected in the second quarter of 2024, with the show home estimated to be completed at the very beginning of the year. At present, the team is in the midst of selecting the final fixtures and finishes for these homes. Abigail remarked how she is eager to see all of the elements come together in the new year.

What is good interior design?
Abigail emphasises the importance of clear communication from the beginning of a project in order to manage expectations and avoid any disappointment. This communicative approach dovetails with her overall design philosophy.
‘Design is more to me than just great aesthetics,’ says Abigail. She explains that the interior of a home tells the story of the homeowners, reflecting their experiences and tastes. She adds that a ‘good designer inspires, but more importantly listens.’ When designing a space, she always aims to create something that is timeless and layered, a paired back opulence that can grow with her clients.
