October marks Construction Safety Month, a time for the industry to refocus on the practices, training and culture that keep people safe on site. For B&G Construction, it’s an important reminder of the shared responsibility we all hold in ensuring that every project, from large-scale developments to bespoke residential builds are delivered with safety at its core.
Running from October 13th to 24th, the CIF’s “Back to Basics” initiative encourages companies to revisit the fundamentals, to take time to review safety management systems, talk to teams and focus on the everyday actions that prevent accidents before they happen.

The 2025 campaign highlights five key themes designed to reinforce everyday best practice across the industry:
